TQM!

TQM! was a result of an Inktober Challenge I did in October 2020 to complete one design per day. The prompt which led to this piece was “home”.

Being from Tijuana, tacos have my heart. Their smell, taste, and ritual, are what I carry on my skin no matter where I go. When I have them, I am home. Therefore, I made them the focus of this design and added a pun in Spanish with the inclusion of “Taquero Mucho” which sounds like “ Te Quiero Mucho” (or “I love you very much"). Taqueros are of course the people who serve you tacos in taquerias and they are loved deeply by the citizens of Tijuana.

TQM! was made entirely on Adobe Illustrator.
