My name is Gaby Quevedo (aka maimaxico) and I’m a self taught graphic artist and illustrator from Tijuana, Mexico based in San Diego, California.
I say “self taught” because my educational background is actually in environmental geography and business management, not illustration or graphic design. However, art has always been my jam!
From writing to graphic design, I loooove being creative but have always been terrified of sharing my work with the world.
maimaxico is my attempt to end such fear. It is a world of art and celebration for everything weird, funky, unique, colorful, and seemingly ordinary yet stunningly beautiful. It celebrates who you are, whoever you are and however you are.
