ME GUSTAS

A set of illustrations made for a limited edition maimaxico Valentine’s Collection in February 2022. Inspired by first crushes and modern love, this 2D illustration emotes the feelings of love in its beginning stages. Capturing moments filled with blushed cheeks and nervous bellies, just like texting your crush in your bedroom. ‘Me Gustas’ means ‘I like you’ in English, so I chose this phrase to encapsulate the innocence and cuteness of the holiday as well as the brand’s message to inspire others to express their feelings to their loved ones.
